The CORR race in Primm was this past weekend, the weather was very hot, 105 on Sunday but it did not keep the crowds away and the racing was amazing, more on the racing later.
Primm is the middle of nowhere, 40 miles from Vegas and nowhere near anything else. There are a few casino/resorts, a gas station and a few fast food joints. Sounds awful right? Wrong! You are stuck in BFE which means everyone hangs out at the same bar, The Tree Bar every night. A lot of fun was had, stories told, others drama unfolded which is always entertaining.
For Dirt Workshop Primm brought a huge opportunity, rap super star Snoop Dogg came to town to check out the racing. Late on Saturday night he wanted to get behind the wheel on track so the series put him in the Bully Dog/Dirt Workshop pace truck. Snoop drive for a few laps with friends and TV crew stuffed in the cab. Check out future episodes of the Snoop show on the E! channel.
After the first race we brought home our new Baja Bug, well we brought home another new toy, a Trophy Kart for the Dirt Workshop kids. It is without a body but with a little work it looks like a Class 1 car. Check the Garage page out soon for more info.

Now to the racing. Our drivers Casey Currie and Chuck Dempsey did not have great weekends. Chuck ran near the top 10 both days but struggled with handling and set up issues. Casey ran at the top all weekend, on Satirday he got taken out by a couple of lapped trucks but on Sunday turned it around and finished 4th. Still not where we or he hoped he would be but the new chassis is still getting sorted out.

More later.

But we do promise that the  BLOG will keep you entertained, fill you in on some of the "behind the scenes" sort of stuff from the world of off road racing, the industry in general and the fun we have playing in the dirt.
